Dalmedo Custom Guitars

I just wanted to say how Tito transformed my guitar. Though I’m an eternal beginner even I could tell the ‘out of the box’ sound was dull and muted. Suffice it to say after Tito’s set up treatment, this instrument sings.

This was my ultimate treat to myself, having a 4 string bass modelled on the much missed Simon Gouldings 6 string bass, again built by Tito

Tito was brilliant in keeping me informed & suggestions to give it a little bit of an "Identity" various little tweaks etc.

So pleased with the wood selected the finish is absolutely exceptional, I am always asked what make is it at gigs, when you tell people the story

they are more amazed, I have since added the names of departed family loved ones which keeps them alive in my heart

Fitting they are there on my prized possession, thank you Tito excellent as always I would recommend Tito from a set up to a commissioned guitar 1000%

Took a bass for a set up having gone to him previously with another bass when he did a fantastic job setting it up for me.This bass had issues with buzzing frets, Tito did a deluxe setup on the bass, including levelling the frets, I couldn't be happier.

My previous experience was his re-build of broken neck & headstock on my very precious 1974 Gherson Jazz bass , which surpassed expectations.

This time , my 1978 Ibanez Howard Roberts ( Lawsuit ) which had succumbed to some serious celluloid off-gassing , which disintegrated the pick-guard and caused a fait amount of corrosion on much of the gold plated hardware.

Tito has done a remarkable job , the guitar looks as good as when I first bought it all of those years ago. I cannot speak highly enough of Tito's skill in all things guitar !

Really nice bloke and really affordable prices. Worked on two of my electro accoustics to bring them back to life and couldn't be happier with the finished product.

Tito's name was given to me by our lead guitarist who had a Strat set up by him a while ago. My Fender Precision Bass needed some TLC and I wanted a Hipshot detuner fitted. When I picked it up Tito had given it a real good sorting out, it is sounding as good as it did when I bought it 24 years ago.

Absolutely delighted with the "De-Luxe Set - Up" on my beloved Fender US standard Telecaster.

It plays and sounds even better now than on the day I instantly fell in love with it when brand new 34 years ago.

Tito didn't even charge extra for his painstaking work restoring the frets and neck to just like new.

Pickup selector switch packed up on my Gretsch Electromatic guitar. Found Dalmedo (local) on the Internet left message.
Tito contacted me back so I left the guitar with him for repair.
Within 24 hours Tito emailed me to say the repair had been done
I collected my guitar and the selector switch worked great.
Best of all, Tito only charged me £20 for the repair!

My trusty Strat had worn frets so I asked Tito to sort them out. No fuss at all: I had the guitar back the next day with perfectly levelled, crowned and polished frets, with a perfect full set up too.

Having bought a new Tokai Breezysoun d Tele copy recently- I had wondered why it felt so bad to play; so I took it to Tito. The frets were all over the place apparently with highs & lows everywhere , in fact he said it was unplayable . After being in his expert hands he has sorted it out good and proper and the guitar plays a dream and is now a pleasure to play. So far this week I've played two gigs with a Dalmedo custom transducer pickup system fitted to my trusty acoustic and I'm blown away! The sound is microphonic, warm, punchy and articulate and every bit as great as well known brands I've played (if not better actually). Exceptional service. My guitars have never played better. I don't care if you have an Epiphone SG or a private stock PRS, Tito will improve upon it immeasurably. The only problem is that if you have a collection you will eventually have to get them all set up by Tito because once you get one done the rest will play like crap by comparison!

Fitting LR Baggs Pick up

I first came across Tito about 15 months ago when he lowered the action on a brand new Fender 12 string acoustic I had purchased, and now it plays like a dream. He repaired the jack socket on my Fender Strat and gave my son\'s Fender bass a cracking service. Recently, he installed an LR Baggs pick up into my Yamaha acoustic, but the pick up turned out to be faulty. He liaised with LR Baggs to try and resolve the problem, but LR Baggs suggested I return the pick up and get a replacement. At no extra charge, Tito put in the replacement pick up, and everything is now working like clockwork. Tito is a true professional and I would recommend him to anyone for guitar repairs.

Give tito my strat deluxe to set up , and what a great job it feels lovely and silky to play now .he also did some great wiring mods on the pickup selecton i can now have all my pickups on or just the bridge and neck pickups , aswell as the usual strat config .

I've been playing the guitar for 48 years and soon realised that guitars needed to be set up properly by someone who knows what they are doing. I have used various luthiers over the years but after trying Dalmedo guitars it has become obvious that they are miles in front of any other luthiers. Tito looks after all of my guitars and frankly I would be terrified of leaving one of my proud possessions with any body else. He is simply the best.

Great service from Tito. My Maton acoustic was getting a bit tired after 10 years use. After a full setup from Tito it now plays like new. Thanks. I\'ll be back.

You have fixed my les paul amazingly and at a fantastic price if there is one person to go for guitar repairs go to him!

I've now had several of my guitars set up by Tito and I am very happy with the results! Recommendable!

Had a repair to les paul toggle switch fitted me in at very short notice excellent job done. Repaired a bass guitar a few years ago made an unplayable jackson sound good

I had a guitar which had been repaired with a very bad set-up and as such I'd gotten used to playing with a very high action and had reserved that guitar for certain styles, I bought a new nut for the guitar and this highlighted the original problem to the extent that it was unplayable. I took the guitar to Tito and he commented that he didn't know how I'd managed to use it for so long. Rest assured I got the guitar back with an excellent set-up and I'm now using it for whatever I want to, rather than being restricted by a bad set-up. Great value for money and a truly professional service.

I purchased the 'Deluxe Guitar Setup' and received prompt, and friendly service that was excellent value for money. The job done was fantastic; my guitar plays better than ever. I had some queries about the set-up which were answered quickly and were very helpful.

Headed into the studio next Wednesday and will be using your wonderful stomp box on the new album

I took my trusty 10 year old SG to Tito for a complete overhaul. When I got it back it played and sounded better than it ever had. I would have no hesitation recommending his services to anyone and will certainly be using him for an annual service from now on :)

I had new super high gauge/tension strings on my bass and needed it setting up: truss rod was adjusted, intonation was set, nut aligned, bridge corrected and the action was lowered. Sounds sweet!

I had 3 electric guitars set up professionally by Dalmedo Custom Guitars to a very high standard. The price was below all other guitar techs I used in the past and the level of service was superb. I am going to come back to Dalmedo again for minor repairs and set-ups and hopefully for a custom build guitar in the near future. If you want quality - don't go anywhere else
